A really tasty accompaniment to pan fried chicken
Ingredients
350 grams frozen sweetcorn
25 grams butter
1 tbsp Plain flour
100 ml single cream
Milk if needed
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
Fresh Chives or Parsley
Method
Melt the butter in a skillet or large frying pan
Add the sweetcorn and heat through, then sieve the flour over the corn and stir well .
Add the cream, salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir until the mixture thickens(if it over thickens add a slurp of milk). Sprinkle with a little chopped parsley or chives and serve. This goes well with pan fried Chicken and Chips
