Extremely quick and easy. Great with soup or breakfast. Brilliant for dipping into soft boiled eggs!
Ingredients
150g Strong White Bread Flour
½ tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Bicarbonate of Soda
135g Greek Yogurt
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 220C
2. Sieve all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.
3. Add the yogurt and mix well
4. Knead for a couple of minutes and form into a ball and flatten until about 50mm high. Dust well with flour and then place the dough onto an oiled baking sheet, cut a 10mm deep cross into the dough and bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
6. Leave to cool, slice, spread with butter and nosh away to your hearts content!
This will make a small loaf for 2 people. The recipe scales up perfectly. Enjoy
